Leones de Santo Domingo (LNB) agreed terms with 23-year old Dominican swingman L.J. Figueroa (198cm-91kg-98, college: Oregon). The last time (21) he played at Dallas Mavericks in the NBA Summer League. Figueroa missed last season due to covid-19 restrictions and had longer break from professional basketball.
He just graduated from University of Oregon and it will be his first season as a pro.
Figueroa represented Dominican Republic at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) two years ago. Figueroa's team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 5 games: 7.4ppg, 1.2rpg, Steals-4 (1.4spg), FGP: 58.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 66.7%.
